Novice Recreational
Come along and learn the basic movements and skills involved in gymnastics. This class is an introduction to gymnastics, incorporating all gymnastic apparatus such as the vault, bars, beam, rings, pommel horse, and floor circuits. In addition, some sessions will involve the use of the double mini-tramp, and air track to help develop spatial awareness and body control.
Our ‘Novice’ classes are grouped into two age categories. Children aged 5 to 7 years; and 8 to 10 years; and best suited for children who may have had no or very minimal gymnastics experience. It is also a wonderful way of combining a fun new challenge while improving fitness and mobility.
At Te Wero we aim to bring out the potential in each and every individual and as such we continuously monitor and assess to make sure your child is in the right class. We strive to match age, ability and an individual's needs to the best suited class.
The class consists of an 8:1 Gymnast/Coach maximum ratio.
